Lying by the pool
The waters dance cruel
Their tales upon thy heart
And their waves roll
And the soil washes into the sea
Dividing the heart in me
Between the ponds and the shore
Wash away the pain I bore
Free me from the tales of the sea
And the cult it inflicts upon me
The resolution’s in the sea
Poseidon’s cree
I search for the answers to the heart
For tales and secrets hidden so long
There must be answers out in the sea
There must be answers for the heart in me. |
